Tsonjin Boldog

Tsonjin boldog is tourist complex with the tallest equestrian statue in the world located in Erdene sum, Tuv aimag Mongolia. It is the statue dedicated and built as Chinggis Khaan on his horse looking over Mongolia symbolically pointing to his birthplace. The significance of this place in history states that Chinggis Khaan found a golden whip in this very spot. The Statue is 40 meters tall and has a museum, visitor center in the bottom. The museum displays archaeological founding’s from the Xiongnu, Bronze Age such as everyday utensils, battle related pieces along with handcrafted items that mimic animal’s shapes for jewelry.
